CS - Shipment Documents
The following shipment documents are created when making a booking on the Cloudshipping Portal.
- Shipment Labels - Shipping labels display the key information for a carrier to transport a package from its start destination (your warehouse) to its end destination (the customer’s hands). The key information includes postal code, country, tracking number, date, package quantity as well as the weight, address, validation, and ship street, city, and state (area). Shipping labels can also specify the contents, particularly if they’re for international shipments. Each label is unique and you cannot reuse old labels. A new label must be created for each delivery.
- Commercial Invoice - The Commercial Invoice is a contract and proof of sale issued by the seller to the buyer. This document describes the goods being sold and details the price, value, and quantity of the goods. The breakdown of costs on a Commercial Invoice is used by Customs to calculate and assess the duties and taxes due for the shipment.
